As we work to Rekindle Hope in young people, your support is as valuable and important as is ever has been. While I can list a host of reasons, it really just comes down to how costly it is to care for children 24 hours a day, 330 days a year. As an organization, we generally:
-Serve over 30,000 meals each year
-Serve over 20,000 after school and before bed snacks each year
-Drive to town 300 times per year
-Attend 500 Dr. Appointments
-Attend 400 Dentist Appointments
-Attend 48 Church Services
-Supervise and Coach 10,000 hours of Vocational Training for
Residents
-Pay approx. $20,000 to kids for working at The Ranch
-Pay approx. $12,000 to kids for allowance to help them with necessities
-Don’t cost taxpayers a single red cent
While it is a lengthy list, it is just what we do. We care for other people’s children in an effort to help them to one day care for their own children in such a way that they will not need The Ranches and you will not need to support the raising of their children.
