The beginning of a new year carries with it a quiet invitation. It asks us to pause, to look back on where we have been, and to imagine who we might become. For many of us, that hope is mixed with realism. We know change is not easy. We carry habits we wish we could leave behind and dreams we are not always sure how to reach. Still, there is something about a fresh start that reminds us it is never too late to try again.

That same hope, fragile and brave, often arrives with the children who come to The Ranches.
