Dear Friends,

At the end of 2021, I was rather excited to announce our plans to build an additional cottage at The Ranches. Since that letter was sent out, we have made considerable progress towards our goal of realizing this important new project. Through the generosity of a large donor, coupled with your generosity, we have raised $48,064 that has been multiplied to become $96,128!

We have also started working with an architect to design the cottage of our future. It is very exciting to lead a meeting and discuss all that we have struggled with in our current cottages and design a building that meets the needs of our current program instead of our program of the 80’s. Our need for bigger kitchens and more counter space merged with our desire to provide single rooms with single bathrooms for kids that need a safer space with less sharing and less opportunity for further fear and pain.

I remain wholly excited about, and committed to, the idea of building this new building.

While it is “just” a building, we will do what we do best to transform it into a safe and supportive home for 8-10 kids who desperately need our support. Hopefully, y’all’s enthusiasm will remain high and you will continue helping us towards this incredibly important goal.
